L-K Industries is proud to announce the opening of its newly accredited ISO/IEC 17025 Laboratory. Operating as Miller-Weber of Texas, our highly trained technical staff is manufacturing thermometers and other glassware, and performing instrument calibrations in-house.
Miller-Weber relocated to Houston, Texas to officially join the L-K Industries family. This alliance has allowed L-K Industries to become one of the few companies in the United States with the ability to both manufacture products like ASTM thermometers and independently certify them under the most stringent standards.
The International Standards Organization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) jointly created the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation.It is the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. L-K Industries differentiates itself from competitors by voluntarily adhering to these stringent standards, guaranteeing that customers receive precise, high-quality instruments.
The ISO/IEC 17025 calibration laboratory officially opened its doors at the L-K Industries facility in the summer of 2016. During the cross-country move, Miller-Weber maintained its accreditation status without a blemish.
L-K Industries brings the strength of its own manufacturing expertise (dating back to 1930) to continue the traditions established by Miller-Weber. L-K manufactures and calibrates a full range of liquid and glass thermometers, hydrometers, and centrifuge tubes and is a supplier to the medical, food service, agricultural and petrochemical industries.
